A scene from the superhero base...(microfiction)

SupaFreak activated her teleporter device, and in a shower of sparks and a flash of blue light, she reformed at the entrance portal of the base. It looked uncommonly empty. She called, "Is anyone here?"

"Hey! It's just me right now!" Antiope called from the next room. "I'm in the workshop."
