I am talking a lot today. Here is an update on Sinnish.

I've worked out how to make questions in Sinnish. There are essentially three types of questions: yes-no questions, wh-word questions and alternative questions.

I think Im going to shift one of the phonemes. The X sound is one that isn't in English and I'm having a lot of trouble saying it with any sort of consistancy. And since one of the points of the language is for me to use it, I may just change the sound. I think I'll change it to the ch sounds like in 'change'. This is actually two sounds put together (t and Z). Makes Sinnish sound more like English, but it makes it easier for me to say. Yeah, I'll do that.

Oh! And here is a blessing in Sinnish:

yu amaZdada xar@m@karaka
yoo ah mahzsh-dah-DAH khah-ruh-nuh-kah-rah-KAH
May you cry out in ecstasy like a thunderstorm repeatedly.

I dunno. It seems a little long, doesnt it? it loses a little in the translation. Maybe I need a word for thunderstorm - xar@m@karaka is a compound 'storm-thunder'. Long word. Hmmm...

Is that the direct translation? Cause I ting "May you cry out repeatedly..." sounds a bit better.
