Sep. 23rd, 2003 10:42 amI think I've finally figured out how to verbalize the disparity between the U.S. position and the U.N.'s position on the so-called War on Terrorism.
To the U.S., the War on Terror(tm) is an incredible priority. It's about keeping it's people safe. For the rest of the world, nothing has really changed. The rest of Europe is no safer or more at danger than it was before 9/11. This is about America's terror, and not anyone else's. This is why the U.S. seems so frantic about it, but no one else does.
