Visor Vagaries

Writing on my Visor is still going slowly - the Graffiti interface is still really awkward for me.

I have discovered a potential problem, however. If I put in the actual date and time of my entry but don't upload for a few days, people will never see my posts as they wont show up in there Friend's posts. However, if I just set it to use the upload time and date, I post a rush of posts without a sense of time to them.

We'll see if I can come up with anything.

Why not use upload time, and make the first line (or even the subject) of the post the actual time/date you wrote it?:)

I think this is an excellent idea. It also lets us know which entries are composed on the Visor.

Also, I'll note there's a variety of keyboards that fold into wallet-size packages for the Palm. I assume they'd work with a Visor as well. That might help with your problems with Graffiti.

Targus makes them.Part number is PA800. $80 at their website. They also have some sort of $30 rebate thing going on too.

Not that I'd know anything about it...

One of those things to get with my Mythical Spare Cash. Maybe a thumb board - more compact.

landware gotype

Landware (landware.com) makes a series called gotype. They fold into a clamshell, and not the wallet sized package. My keyboard works with my old Visor Deluxe and my new Visor Pro. I don't know about the Neo/Prism models.

It's $40-$50 dollars, and it's easier to keyboard on your lap or the ground, since th damn thing won't fold up on you in the midst of what you're working on.
