So, here I am on my Visor. I got a thumb board for it finally. Coolest part is that it only cost like $10. So I am testing out the thing now. The one real disadvantagei to it so far is that it increases the length of the Visor by about half. I keep my Visor in my pocket in a padded case and it just barely fits as is. So I have no place to keep the thumb board, which annoys me.

I have noticed that I tend to like gadgets that are self-contained. I don't like having lots of little attachments and gizmos lying around - things are just too easy to lose. I like things you can do a lot of stuff with minimal fuss and modificarion. Swiss Army knives, for example. That's why I chose a Visor instead of a Palm, because the Springboard port seemed like it would make it very versatile. Too bad they cost so much.

This thumb board is working well. Though it is making the tips of my thumbs hurt.
