Eleri says to ask you about "Raptured", she put it down as the paranormal power she'd most like to have when I interviewed her. Figure it is as good a time as any to ask, since you're soliciting questions!
I would like to assume it's nothing like ruptured ;)
It's pretty much the opposite of ruptured, really ;)
The Rapture is something from the one erotica story I've ever-written (http://www.literotica.com:81/stories/showstory.php?id=45466). It's also part of an RPG background that I may never run.
Here is the original description from my notes. It's kinda dry, however:
A person is an alchemical furnace. No, a person is THE alchemical furnace. The power available from this furnace is immense; but the power available from the fusion of these furnaces is staggering. And the most powerful form of fusion between people is sex.
The Raptured are those people who have had their furnace turned on so high that they can use it to fuel extraordinary effects. This energy fuels their life and their magic. Without regular sexual contact, a Raptured cannot use their abilities and even sicken and eventually die.
The Rapture itself is the triggering event where a single Raptured's abilities manifest. Rapture is an extraordinary event in which multiple bystanders are often unwittingly drawn in. Each Rapture is unique, but all are incredibly sexual and have impossible elements.
No one knows what catalyzes the Rapture. It's choices seem random in respect to most factors. The only real trends are that discernable are that the Rapture never happens before puberty and there is always a Raptured nearby. However, the Rapture is not forced on a person. In every Rapture, there is a point that the person has a choice to leave. If they decline, it ends. If not, they Rapture.
Concurrant with the Rapture is the Siren. The Siren is a call that only Raptured can sense, letting them know that a Rapture is going to occur nearby. Being a part of a Rapture is considered good luck (and an unbelievable fling besides), so Raptured race to the Siren's call.
Once the Rapture is complete, the Raptured begin to discover their gifts. While some are universal, most of these gifts are unique from individual to individual. Many have a distinctly sexual theme, however.
All Raptured have endless libidos. In fact, their stamina during sex is endless as well - they do not tire, never run dry, dehydrate, chafe, oversensitive, etc. A Raptured is never impotent or frigid - in fact, most of them are ready to fuck at the drop of a hat (any hat). They can put off bodily functions (eat, use the bathroom, sleep, etc.) until they finish. However, they must catch up with all those functions when they stop.
All Raptured are immune to any sort of STD or sexual dysfunction. They are incapable of carrying or transmitting any STD as well. Also, they cannot conceive unless they specifically will it, and then they have the standard chances. As an upshot, a Raptured never has problems with fertility.
All Raptured have a basic experiential empathy with those they are having sex with. Additionally, all Raptured gain an intuitive fluency in a language known as Sinnish.
Additionally, the Raptured have an ability known as the Call. In a truly desparate situation, a Raptured can call all of the people they have ever had sex with. Each person that accepts the Call lends their energy and strengh to the Raptured for a short period of time. Thus the Call can make a Raptured into a force to be reckoned with.

I dunno. It's a fictionalization, yes. But it's rooted in an actual philosophy. The background wa more just a way to get my idea out. As I go along, the Rapture is more and more of a working philosophy and spirituality than an excuse for make-believe sex.

nope.
