Well, after a bit of the day, I feel better. All it takes is a stream of bat's piss or two. That is, a shaft of gold when all around is dark....

After going through the rest of the day, I feel better.

I applied for a personal loan to see about catching up with all of the medical bills we have. I tightened up the budget a bit, so we are not as far behind. If I gte this loan, we'll be back on track. That'll help me a lot.

And I took my ACE (Adobe Certified Expert) test today and I passed. So I am an ACE in three products now: Framemaker 6.0, Framemaker 7.0 and InDesign 2.0. I'll have the most ACE certificaions of anyone on the team. Woot!

I guess this means I should get a real job now.

Talking with Eleri helped me a lot. I know she's really not doing well. But the fact that she still wants to be around me always helps me get out of my black moods. And I get a chance to be strong for her for once. Kinda a nice change.

So I'm on an upswing tonight. Who knows how long it will last. But I don't care too much - that's the lovely naive nature of upswings, don't you think?

Anyway, I'm gonna finish making lunch for tomorrow and go to bed.
